Star Wars the Bad Batch S2 Episodes 7 & 8 Breakdown and Review

We go in-depth on the Bad Batch 2-episode mid-season extravaganza, episode 7, "the Clone Conspiracy" and episode 8 "Truth and Consequence" and we also (not surprisingly) get lost in Tangent Time for bit but it is all good!

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an American animated series created by Dave Filoni for the streaming service Disney+. It is part of the Star Wars franchise, acting as both a sequel to, and spin-off from, the series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The Bad Batch is produced by Lucasfilm Animation, with Jennifer Corbett as head writer and Brad Rau as supervising director.

Dee Bradley Baker voices the members of the Bad Batch, a squad of elite clone troopers with genetic mutations. He also voices other clones in the series, reprising his role from The Clone Wars. Michelle Ang stars as Omega, a female clone who joins the squad. The series was officially ordered by Disney+ in July 2020 as a spin-off from The Clone Wars, with Filoni, Corbett, and Rau attached.

The first season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch premiered on May 4, 2021, and ran for 16 episodes until August 13. It received positive reviews from critics. A second season, also consisting of 16 episodes, premiered on January 4, 2023 and will conclude on March 29.

Just barely clearing the doomed ship in a Y-wing, Ahsoka and Rex escape to the moon, where they respectfully bury the clones and Ahsoka discards one of her lightsabers. Years later, Darth Vader arrives on the moon and recovers Ahsoka's lightsaber. He looks up and sees a convor circling overhead. The series ends with an image of Vader walking away reflected in the visor of an old trooper helmet sticking out of the snow.

Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 10 Spoiler Filled Breakdown and Review

Episode 10 The Phantom Apprentice

Ahsoka faces off against Maul, who mentions Darth Sidious, before escaping. Ahsoka relays this to Obi-Wan, who says he had inferred from Count Dooku that Sidious is the Sith lord who orchestrated the Clone Wars. However, Dooku is no longer a reliable source due to having been killed by Anakin during their mission to save Palpatine, and neither him or Obi-Wan can come to assist Ahsoka, as Anakin has been assigned to spy on Palpatine and learn his true intentions, wheras Obi-Wan has been sent to Utapau to find General Grievous. After Almec is assassinated by Saxon before he can relay information to the enemy, Bo-Katan helps Rex's team fight him and his Mandalorians. At the same time, Ahsoka confronts Maul again, who reveals he engineered this conflict to lure Obi-Wan and Anakin to him, in order to kill the latter, because Sidious intends to convert Anakin to the Dark Side. Ahsoka and Maul then duel above the city and Ahsoka emerges victorious, saving Maul from falling to his death and having him captured by the clone troopers.
