The untitled Marvel Halloween special is an upcoming American television special directed by Michael Giacchino for the streaming service Disney+, based on Marvel Comics. It is intended to be the first television special in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The special is produced by Marvel Studios.
Gael García Bernal stars in the special, along with Laura Donnelly. Development of the special had begun by August 2021, with Bernal cast that November. Giacchino joined by March 2022, ahead of the start of filming later that month in Atlanta, Georgia, and concluded by late April.
The special is scheduled to be released on Disney+ in October 7th 2022, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
