Mockingbird sees Digger burying three gentlemen in the middle of the street and swoops down and takes care of the bad guy!
When she takes him in to the police station, she finds out that he is part of the Night Shift. That name sounds familiar to Mockingbird but she cannot place it. The scene shifts to the Night Shift where they are waiting on Gypsy Moth and Digger, Gypsy Moth arrives and tell them the news of Digger getting a beat down by Mockingbird. They decide to teach the West Coast Avengers a lesson not knowing that she quit the team. They break into their compound and Hawkeye and Vision answer the alarm. The Brothers Grimm take down Vision with the help of Tick-Tock.
Gypsy Moth uses her powers to break Hawkeye’s bow, with Vision incapacitated and Hawkeye without his bow, the West Coast Avengers are in trouble. Mockingbird meets up with Tigra and Moon Knight and after hearing her story, they decide to head to the Night Shift’s hideout that Moon Knight had found way back in Solo Avengers #3. Meanwhile back at Avengers Compound, Scarlet Witch joins the battle and is trapped in giant wad of cotton when she hexes the Brothers Grimm magic beans.
Tigra, Mockingbird and Moon Knight find a note for the Shroud from the rest of the gang stating they went to get Digger released at Avengers Compound, but they stay at the Night Shifts hideout since they do not know when they left to free to comrade. Wonder Man arrives just in time to help!! The Shroud shows up at the Night Shift’s hideout and tells the former West Coast Avengers that the Night Shift will move to another of their hideouts and leaves. He shows up at Avengers Compound and frees the Night Shift and agrees to talk to Hawkeye in their usual place in ten minutes. The Shroud explains what had happened and Hawkeye tells him that he has to tell his team the truth about the Shroud. The Shroud and Hawkeye shake hands and the Shroud disappears into the night leaving Hawkeye standing by himself.
