This time around, we watched the premiere of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and now we're ready to discuss what we think is next in upcoming episodes. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is an upcoming American television miniseries created by Malcolm Spellman for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics characters Sam Wilson / Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The events of the series take place after the film Avengers: Endgame (2019). The series was produced by Marvel Studios, with Spellman serving as head writer and Kari Skogland directing.

 

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their respective roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes from the film series. Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, and Wyatt Russell also star. By September 2018, Marvel Studios was developing a number of limited series for Disney+, centered on supporting characters from the MCU films, with Spellman hired to write one on Falcon and Winter Soldier in October. The series was officially confirmed in April 2019 along with Mackie and Stan's involvement. Skogland was hired the next month. Filming began in October 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to the Czech Republic in early March 2020. Production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resuming in Atlanta in September 2020. Filming ended in the Czech Republic in October.

 

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is scheduled to premiere on March 19, 2021, and will consist of six episodes. It will be part of Phase Four of the MCU.

The issue starts out with Seth’s legions attacking Asgard… Seth’s right hand snake is worried that if the heroes can stop even mighty Thanos, what chance does Seth have? Meanwhile at the University of Nevada, Daimon Hellstrom is with Mockingbird, Moon Knight and Tigra talking to Lincoln Slade’s ancestor about possible being possessed by the Phantom Rider.

Two spirts are released, Lincoln Slade who vows revenge against Mockingbird and Carter Slade who wants to set things right and they begin to fight

Lincoln is getting the best of Carter so Daimon releases Khonshu from Moon Knight’s body to help Cater. Khonshu’s appearance is noticed by Seth’s forces on Asgard and send a strike force to take him down!

Seth’s forces stop Khonshu but Daimon, Tigra, Moon Knight and Mockingbird battle on, the two Slades are still fighting and we find out that Lincoln was never meant to become the Phanton Rider. After defeating Lincoln, Carter goes back to Hamilton Slade and says he must become the new Phantom Rider!

Khonshu decides it is time for a permanent parting of the ways with Moon Knight

Daimon banishes Lincoln Slade and vows to check in on Carter and Hamilton from time to time. Moon Knight decides to quit the Avengers since that was what Khonshu wanted, Tigra wants to rejoin the West Coast Avengers but Mockingbird says it will be too hard to face Hawkeye.
