The second season of the American superhero television series Peacemaker is based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. While the first season is a spin-off from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad (2021), the second season is set in the DC Universe (DCU) which is a "soft reboot" of the DCEU. The season continues the story of jingoistic mercenary Chris Smith / Peacemaker following the events of the DCU film Superman (2025). It is produced by DC Studios with James Gunn as showrunner.

John Cena stars as the title character alongside Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Robert Patrick, Frank Grillo, Sol RodrΓguez, David Denman, Tim Meadows, and Michael Rooker. The season was ordered in February 2022, with Gunn set to write and direct all eight episodes. Filming was expected to begin in 2023, but work was put on hold when Gunn was made co-CEO of DC Studios and switched focus to Superman. The spin-off series Waller was then prioritized, but Waller was delayed by the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, and in March 2024 Gunn announced that the second season of Peacemaker would now come first. Some filming occurred the next month, taking place simultaneously with Superman at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Principal photography for the season took place from June to November.

The season premiered on the streaming service HBO Max on August 21, 2025, and will consist of eight episodes. It has received positive reviews from critics, who generally found it to be better than the first season and praised Cena's performance as well as the wider cast.

Eyes of Wakanda Series Discussion | NYSQ Breakdowns

The entire Eyes of Wakanda series dropped on Friday, we have watched it and have thoughts about not only the series, but what it might mean for the future of the MCU!

Eyes of Wakanda is an American animated anthology television miniseries created by Todd Harris for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics country Wakanda. It is the 15th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from Marvel Studios and is produced by Marvel Studios Animation with Proximity Media, sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. It follows the Hatut Zaraze, Wakandan warriors who carry out dangerous missions throughout history. Harris served as showrunner and director.

The series features an ensemble cast including Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose. In February 2021, an overall deal between Disney and Ryan Coogler's Proximity Media was announced. An animated series about Wakanda was in development by March 2023, and was officially announced as Eyes of Wakanda that December. Harris's involvement was revealed in March 2024. Unlike Marvel Animation's other series to that point, Eyes of Wakanda is set in the MCU's "Sacred Timeline" and has greater connections with the franchise's films. Animation for the series is provided by Axis Animation in a hand-painted style inspired by contemporary African-American artists such as Ernie Barnes, as well as illustrator Dean Cornwell.

Eyes of Wakanda premiered on Disney+ on August 1, 2025, with all four episodes released simultaneously. It is the first series of Phase Six of the MCU.

Solo Leveling is an anime television series based on Chugong's South Korean web novel of the same name. It is produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Shunsuke Nakashige, with Noboru Kimura [ja] writing the scripts, Tomoko Sudo designing the characters, and Hiroyuki Sawano composing the music.
