Season 1 is in the books for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and what a a season it was so come join in the conversation! 


Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is an upcoming American animated television series created by Jeff Trammell for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. It is intended to be the 12th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) from Marvel Studios and is produced by Marvel Studios Animation. The series explores Peter Parker's origin story and early days as Spider-Man, and is set in an alternate timeline from the main films and television series of the MCU where Norman Osborn becomes Parker's mentor instead of Tony Stark. Trammell serves as head writer with Mel Zwyer as supervising director.

Hudson Thames voices Parker, reprising the role from the Marvel Studios animated series What If...? (2021–2024), with Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy, Charlie Cox, Kari Wahlgren, and Paul F. Tompkins also starring. Disney+ announced the series as Spider-Man: Freshman Year in November 2021, with Trammell attached. It was originally intended to be set in the main MCU continuity but the creative team found this too restrictive and decided to move it to an alternate timeline, allowing the series to explore familiar ideas and characters in new ways. It was retitled Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man by December 2023. The 3D cel-shaded animation pays homage to the art style of early The Amazing Spider-Man comic books by Steve Ditko and John Romita Sr., with animation provided by Polygon Pictures and CGCG.

The first season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is scheduled to premiere with its first two episodes on Disney+ on January 29, 2025, with the remaining episodes being released in groups until February 19, as part of Phase Five of the MCU. A second season is in development.

Captain America: Brave New World is a 2025 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Sam Wilson / Captain America. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the fourth installment in the Captain America film series, a continuation of the television miniseries The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), and the 35th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by Rob Edwards and the writing teams of Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson and Onah & Peter Glanz. It stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America alongside Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. In the film, Wilson finds himself at the center of an international incident.

Captain America: Civil War (2016) ended the Captain America trilogy starring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, and Wilson becomes the new Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Series writers Spellman and Musson were writing a new Captain America film by April 2021. Mackie signed on in August, Onah joined in July 2022, and the title Captain America: New World Order was announced later that month. Additional cast members joined later in 2022. Nelson returned from the second MCU film, The Incredible Hulk (2008), and Ford replaced William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross following Hurt's death. Ross becomes the president of the United States and the superpowered Red Hulk in the film. Filming took place from March to June 2023 at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, with additional filming in Washington, D.C. The subtitle was changed to Brave New World during filming. Matthew Orton joined in December 2023 to write for reshoots, which took place between May and November 2024. The involvement of Edwards and Glanz was revealed in December.

Captain America: Brave New World premiered on February 11, 2025, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and will be released in the United States on February 14, as part of Phase Five of the MCU. It has received mixed reviews from critics.

Invincible Season 3 Premiere and Thunderbolts* Superbowl Trailer Discussion | NYSQ Breakdowns

Invincible is an adult animated superhero television series created by Robert Kirkman for the streaming service Amazon Prime Video, based on the Image Comics comic book series of the same name he co-created with Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. It is produced by Skybound Entertainment, Wind Sun Sky Entertainment, Point Grey Pictures, and Amazon MGM Studios. The series follows teenager Mark Grayson and his transformation into a superhero under the guidance of his father, Nolan Grayson / Omni-Man, the most powerful superhero on the planet. During his transformation, Mark finds himself struggling between his personal life and superhero duties, and is forced to prove that he can be the hero that his father is, unaware that there's a sinister conspiracy going on that threatens the world, and will leave him questioning the true nature of his role. Steven Yeun stars in the series as Mark Grayson / Invincible alongside Sandra Oh and J. K. Simmons as Mark's mother and father, respectively, while the remaining cast members have recurring roles.

Invincible premiered its first season of eight episodes between March and April 2021. Following the season finale, Amazon renewed the series for a second and third season. A prequel special, Invincible: Atom Eve, was released in July 2023. The second season of eight episodes was divided into two parts, with the first part released in November 2023, and the second part from March to April 2024. The third season premiered on February 6, 2025. Three months after the second-season finale, Invincible was renewed for a fourth season.

The series has received acclaim from critics, with praise for its animation, action sequences, story, voice performances (particularly Yeun, Oh and Simmons), and emotional weight.
